WHO WE ARE
Kim is like the real life Fairy Godmother in Cinderella minus the “Bippity Boppity Boo” sing-a-long. How Kim can turn basic to brilliant with the wave of her hand still blows Pam’s mind.
Prior to A Clever Pair, Kim spent 20+ years in Hollywood set design bringing stories, emotions, and characters to life through visual context.
Her talent and consistent work quality earned her positions leading advertising/editorial photography for clients like Lexus, Kettle Chips, Reebok, and yes, even Maxim--because elevating imagination, characters, and visual communication are priority there too, right? ;)
To you it’s magic, to Kim it’s just what she does.
When not on set or prepping for the next shoot, you’ll find Kim in her vegetable garden or planning her next trip to Brazil.
Pam Alexis Cox
If there’s any one-two punch that could give Mayweather a run for his money, it’s coming from Pam.
She’s no stranger to grit, resourcefulness, and deliberate execution. Prior to A Clever Pair, Pam spent 10 years working ground level at multiple ventures ranging from fashion to natural retail at Whole Foods—her tipping point? Being the product marketing manager who put Pure Bar on Kashi’s radar for eventual acquisition.
Pam represents the perfect combination of wisdom from years in traditional B2C marketing and modern style.
When she’s not managing spreadsheets or creating production schedules, this effortlessly fashionable Bay area transplant may be spotted in the wild at an American Ninja Warrior taping or at the beach with her adorable son, Clive.
The story behind this dynamic duo begins in 2015.
Pam was working for Pure Bar and had to create the booth concept for a major food expo. Pam wanted something that stood out against growing category competitors, but felt limited by generic setups offered by big booth companies.
Fate and a mutual colleague brought Kim to Pam. Pam explained her crazy vision to Kim, Kim told Pam she wasn’t crazy, took it a step further and the rest is history!
A Creative Pair: the Yin to the Yang, the PB to jelly. These are two people who believe in the power of visual communication for modern brands and have the resources to make magic happen. With Pam’s management and Kim’s creativity and network of Industry prop suppliers, builders, and contractors, nothing is impossible.
